I went to The Galloway School for 11 years (1st grade through graduation, gone only my 10th grade year). Last July, Mr. Galloway, the retired headmaster and founder, passed away following a stroke that he suffered after the Peachtree Road Race (stories differ as to if he completed the race this least time or not). This Sunday the school is having a memorial service for him, and my best friend from elementary school is visiting from the DC suburbs. So tonight, 4 of us went out for dinner and drinks and had a great time talking about people I hadnapos;t thought about in decades. WOW Two of us are parents, and 2 of us are not. The other parent is a stay-at-home mom with what sounds like a farm to me. Weapos;re all very different now, but we still have enough common ground to rekindle old friendships.

Iapos;m nervous about tomorrow, but I donapos;t know why. I will see some more people I havenapos;t seen in a while, but the real people that I wanted to reconnect with, those whose opinions I care about, I already saw tonight.

The stories were A HOOT. Yalanda remembers things I had long forgotten, and apparently I have a recall for some details that no one else remembers.

What a magical place that was. I hope that Mr. Galloway rests peacefully knowing what a great start he gave so many of us.

Perhaps its just the way you are towards me, its kind of comforting. Iapos;m just the one making the mistake thinking it was more than that. I wish it was. Its just me thinking its more than it is. Although the hugs you give me, the looks you share with me and everything else in between are what makes the time fly. Very little else makes me happy at the moment but to know your there, right there.. Just being you. Things have changed an awful lot since before.

Lets forget it? but dont ever stop putting that smile on my face.

So i signed up for NaNoWriMo about 2 weeks ago, and since then, iapos;ve been in nothing but idea mode 24-7.
I mean, i have so many ideas flowing through my head, iapos;ll literally get a headache if i dont write them down. This might be the best idea i have had in a while. Itapos;s great.

On other news:
I am watching my little cousin run like a little thunderbolt back and forth through the yard, and i sit here and think, "where the hell did all of the energy i used to have go?"

God, iapos;m only 22 and iapos;m tired all the time. I hate being old. God, I just realized im 22, and that makes me feel even older. Itapos;s not fair. Oh well. Capos;est la Vie.

Well, ill get back to writing down ideas for my novel. Iapos;ll be updating periodically, just to track my progress.
